My name is Rina Shpiruk and I am very excited to bring my non-profit Elev8hope to this community. For nearly 8 years, I’ve been going classroom-to-classroom, providing inspirational documentary presentations to students about the importance of reaching out to others and “paying it forward”
Children in our community are often jaded by their lifestyle or environment. I feel strongly that it’s beneficial for the children to develop an understanding that there are people and children in totally different circumstances than themselves. And by a small act of kindness they can truly have an impact on somebody else’s life. Your child will learn a variety of social issues, with hopes of learning more about themselves, their community and the world. The true impact of the program is Reflection, Education and Action. Promoting initiative and living with passion…believing one student can make a difference.
The Elev8hope experience is phenomenal! The lessons learned in this afterschool program are life-long with great rewards. While most core-values programs are taught through religious venues and on weekends, I feel the best way to teach compassion is “not” to teach, but to inspire through real-life examples, after school. I look forward to your child joining our program from 1:50-3:00 pm where we will plan and carry out a different charitable projects.
By joining Elev8hope, your child can maximize on early empathy and ethical character. Teaching them to take responsibility for their actions and to have respect for social issues and humanity will aid them not only to co-exist but also to help the less fortunate and advance our community.
The difference between a helping hand and an outstretched palm is a twist of the wrist.
I look forward to working with your children.
